Part of the Spatial Design World (SDW) module at the SUTD. With a focus on understanding how to create a mountain-dwelling. I have gone down the path focusing on creating a little nest to sit comfortably on the side of the mountain, without disrupting the environment around it.

Design considerations

I wanted the focus of the dwelling to be toward the East and Southwest. Views from any other direction to be minimised so as to preserve some level of privacy, which will be achieved with the use of a lattice.

Sample renders

Follow the flow from the exterior, up the stairs through the transition space, and finally into the bedroom.
